RUSTON - Behind an 11 strikeout performance from junior left-hander Jonathan Fincher, the Byrd Yellow Jackets baseball team defeated the Neville Tigers 8-1 in the 2016 season opener for both squads Monday here at J.C. Love Field, Pat Patterson Park.
